I am a huge animal lover, and I also dig tattoos a good bit too. That is why no one was surprised when I started looking at different designs for tattoo sleeves that involved animals. Though I just have three cats and two dogs, I love all sorts of animals. I won’t even go to the zoo because I don’t like seeing the animals caged up like that. I don’t mind seeing them in a safari like setting though, and I thought that would make a really cool tattoo sleeve to have on my arm.
I looked at some different designs, and I really liked the ones that had just a slight touch of color to them. That made sense too since I like black and white photography a lot more than color when it is done right, so I knew that I had to do this right also. That meant finding a qualified tattoo artist who would be able to start small and finish big. I knew that I was not going to have it all done at one time, so I needed it to look as natural as possible from the beginning when there was just a small amount done to the end where it would be the full sleeve.
It did not take me long to find the tattoo artist that I wanted to use. I had looked at his portfolio and was really happy with the other animals that I had seen. He has done elephants, zebras, gorillas, lions, snakes and everything in between too. When he showed me a few ideas for the safari I wanted on my arm, I knew I had made the right choice. I am pretty excited about getting this done because what he has done so far looks nothing shy of amazing!
