Ingeborg Schimmer, pianist, received a M.M. in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory in the Hague, and a degree in collaborative piano from the Conservatory Utrecht, both in the Netherlands. She has over twenty years of experience in teaching and accompanying.
Ingeborg worked as opera coach at Indiana University School of Music before relocating to New England. Currently, she is on the faculty of Neighborhood Music School in New Haven, in addition to maintaining a private studio there. She accompanies a diversity of soloists, vocal and instrumental, throughout Connecticut, and works intensively with vocal groups in the area.
